CLI WordPress Theme
Published by Sunny on January 19th, 2007 in Internet, WordPressEver imagined how a Command Line Interface theme for WordPress would look like? Here’s your chance, Rod McFarland has created a WordPress theme which is navigated using commands through a CLI.
From reading an article to commenting, everything in the CLI 1.0 theme is done by commands the user inputs. Rod’s theme, is made using JavaScript and hence has no SEO value. Rod’s theme can be found at themes.wordpress.net where a working demo can also be found. Rod has also put up a demo at his site.
The CLI 1.0 WordPress theme has recieved 417 downloads since it was put up at themes.wordpress.net on January 16th, 2007. I guess the sheer brilliance and effort put into making the theme is what made me to download it cause the theme is not something I’d want to use in any of my blogs. Its a theme for all those die-hard geeks out there, and not for the common internet junkie. Also, since its JavaScript based, it has no SEO scores. Skip this one if your looking for a theme to use for your simple blog. Get it if you have a Linux inclined geek-only-visitors blog.
