Apple, Sandisk and Samsung will have to get ready for a court battle, cause Texas MP3 Technologies Ltd., a company based in Marshall, Texas, is suing for breaching what it claims to be its copyright of the MP3 player concept.

They claim that the patent to cover “An MPEG portable sound reproducing system” was issued in June and they have the complete rights to it.

The suit targets the music players made by the three companies, including Apple’s top-selling iPod and SanDisk’s Sansa. Lets see how this turns out. My guess is it won’t make a dent against Apple, Sandisk nor Samsung.

You never know in the US. It might not make a dent in their bank balance but they might lose it.
