Firefox 1.5 users will be forced to update to the latest 2.0 from April, as they will no longer be provided updates from Mozilla. The company announced that they will provide support and updates till April 24th, 2007. There after, users will have to update to Firefox 2.0.

The information came via a security update for both Firefox 1.5 and 2.0, with an extra note about stopping the support and updates. I’m still surprised why they did not push 2.0 through Auto Update!

So if you are still stuck up and using FF 1.5 (like me), its about time you update to Firefox 2.0!
