A list of applications that are ideal for everyday usage.

- Mozilla Firefox - web browser
- OpenOffice.org Portable - complete office suite
- GIMP Portable - Image editor
- ClamWin Portable - A popular Anti-virus software
- FileZilla Portable - FTP client.
- ThunderBird - Email client.

Online Office Suites
- Google Docs - A free web-based word processor and spreadsheet, which allows you share and collaborate documents online. Its even integrated with your Gmail account.
- ThinkFree - Allows an user to create, edit and share Microsoft Office compatible files.
- Ajax13 - The suite includes a word processor (ajaxWrite), a spreadsheet viewer (ajaxXLS), a graphics editor (ajaxSketch), slideshow presentation software (ajaxPresents), and even a media player called ajaxTunes.
- Zoho - Zoho has everything you need and more. An online word processor, spreadsheet creator, presentation tool, email client, calendar, online organizer, database creator and so much more, Zoho is undoubtedly feature rich and possibly the best!
File Storage
- MediaMax - 25 Gb of storage space, possibly the largest free storage provider.
- UploadingIT - 10,000 Mb of storage space and 50 Gb of bandwidth.
