Publish Posts from Within Firefox Using ScribeFire
Published by Sunny on March 18th, 2007 in Firefox, Tips and TricksPublishing posts to your blogs never got easier. If you’re like me who keeps constantly flicking between tabs while writing a blog article, then that sure is annoying isn’t it ? This is where ScribeFire comes in to the picture.
ScribeFire is a handly little Firefox plugin that lets you write and publish posts to your blog from within Firefox. It supports setting up of multiple blogs and also comes with a wizard to help assist you with the setup.
You will see a little icon in the status bar that contains a notepad and a pencil. Click that and once you’re done setting it up, you can start blogging away. It supports a Rich Text Editor and also has some neat features like specifying a trackback and adding tags to your post.
ScribeFire features:
- A WYSIWYG editor.
- Bookmark directly to del.icio.us from within the editor.
- Add ons and themes integrated support.
- Open multiple tabs without leaving the editor.
- You can also categorize your posts form the four tabs present at the right side of the editor.
- Quick and easy to launch.
- History tab to view previous entries.
- Save quick notes for future.
Happy blogging!
