Rumor: Xbox360 Achievement Rewards Program
Published by Sunny on January 30th, 2007 in Gaming, News - ViewsAccording to TeamXbox.com, community blog Unscripted 360 claims to have accessed documentation that exposes an upcoming program that will reward users for their achievements points, although this is still considered a rumor.
“For the first time, Xbox 360 gamers will be rewarded for their achievements and participation in this program. It will be a FREE program for all interested in registering. There are no fees. Your participation, in fact, is simply doing what you’ve been doing all along…playing games, having fun and unlocking those Achievements. From the casual player to the hardcore, this program will satisfy everyone’s gaming style”, says DeaconBlade from Unscripted 360.
According to Unscripted 360, the program which should be similar to the Xbox Live Diamond Card promo, will feature Microsoft teaming up with different sponsors to provide some prizes for certain achievements.
When TeamXbox.com contacted Microsoft to learn more about this rumor, the company’s spokesman told them:
“However, what we can tell you is that Xbox is always exploring ideas for how we can reward our loyal customers. As soon as we have anything new to share, we will definitely let you know.”
