After much consideration, I’m pleased to announce that the TechnoBeta Forum (TBF) has now been relaunched with a new avatar. The primary intentions of the forum is to involve members in various tech discussions, but TBF will also serve as TechnoBeta Blog’s forum.

First launched back in November 2006, TBF was a big success right away with 1800 articles being posted and 20 new members being added in the first 3 days itself. TBF continued to be a good source of tech knowledge as well as incorporating fun along the way. But the success was short-lived because TBF went down 2 times before coming to its present avatar. The first time being when some Iranian hacker had hacked my forum using a remote exploit of SMF. I then moved to phpBB and continued the forum. But the second time, Tdothost my previous hosting service, deleted my entire account without any prior notice. This time I had no backup of anything!

So it is with these failures overshadowing TBF that I have now re-launched TBF with an intent to make it one of the best forums out there serving technology, but with a brighter atmosphere consisting of social and friendly members.

So go ahead, and join TBF now. Some of TBF’s features include:

• Unique file extension - TBF does not sport the usual .PHP extension as seen in every other forum. Instead, we like to use the .TB extension, which stands for TechnoBeta!
• Private Chat with Admin Santosh - Admin Santosh is always available for chat on TBF’s very own Chat Page.
• Feeds via email - Subscription to TBF’s feeds via email - lets you recieve just 1 email a day of all the threads and posts of the day. Unlike other forums, we intend to keep your inbox clean.
• EZ Registration - to all the future members. This is a feature of TBF that makes registration a breeze. We know how boring it is to fill in a long registration form. Hence, we’ve removed all those unnecessary fields and given you a simple and easy to register form where you enter your desired username and passwords, email ID and the CAPTCHA image. Thats it! You can always update your profile after registration if you need to.
• Feedburner RSS Feeds - for those who like a little something extra than the usual RSS, we offer TBF’s feeds via Feedburner!
